Sustainability in South Africa is now a solid, rapidly-developing movement, with the property industry leading the green resolution
It’s official: the greening and sustainability movement in the property industry is no pipe dream or wishful thinking. Although South Africa is relatively new on the green building scene, the country is making rapid progress. Spearheading the movement is the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA), which currently leads the transformation of the South African property industry to ensure that buildings are designed, built and operated in an environmentally sustainable way via its several rating tools.
